Sole loves

More often than not, commuting between home and office will require me to sprint and chase after buses and mrt, thus the need for office shoes that I can run in.

Thus, I ended up buying lots of flats and recently, I start feeling a need to balance my collection of footwear with some heels (haha, more reason to buy shoes, shoes, shoes....).

I saw this pair of heels that I really like at the Tangs Bazaar sale at Suntec yesterday, available in both black and red colour.

Being a sensible and practical Singaporean, I concluded that I should buy the pair of black heels as it will go with many, many of my work outfits.

But I really like the red one as well...

Being an indecisive female who couldn't decide between the two, I bought both :p

Sensible black

Made of genuine leather, its soft and comfy even though the heels are pretty high for me.

Fiery red

Unconventional heel design, it adds a quirky look to an outfit.

Down from the original price of $129, they are a steal at $19 each!

Now, how do I run after buses and MRTs in high heels?

Disney magic

How incredibly adorable is this?

I bought one set immediately the minute I saw it in the Uniqlo outlet at 313 Orchard Central. There are 3 colours to choose from, grey, black or red. It consists of a striped camisole, a boxer shorts, a scrungy and a little drawstring pouch, all disney themed, or to be more specific, Minnie Mouse.

Made of stretchable cotton, it's soft and comfy to lounge in on a lazy Sunday.

The striped camisole with adjustable straps

Attention to details....black and white elastic waistband with 2 little buttons in front and random minnie amidst the polka dots
W Disney Proj Camisole & Shorts retails at Uniqlo Singapore for S$29.

Yummy Sarawak Kolo Mee

Went to Tampines Round Market for our noodle fix.Even though the stall signboard says Sarawak Kolo Mee, I would say it is an adaptation served with a twist.

Sarawak kolo mee are traditionally eggwhite noodles served with just a dash of shallot oil, minced pork and char-siew.

The stall here uses Sarawak eggwhite noodles which are white, curly and springy without any of the yucky alkaline taste as no alkaline are used in the manufacturing process. That's where the similarity ends.

Each bowl of noodles they serve comes chockful with ingredients: many slices of char siew, veg, 2 softbone ribs, 2 wonton, 1 (fat!) shrimp dumpling, 1 fried wonton with chilli on the side.
Voila! Yummy, yummy, yummy noodles.....

The best part? It only cost $3 for all these yummy goodnessss!

What to wear today?

I decided to throw together something comfy for our afternoon outing to match the hot weather today. Spaghetti-strap top from G2000, pinafore bubble black dress from minimum, Isetan and my latest bag purchase, Marc by Marc Jacobs from Kinokuniya Japanese Magazine GWP.

Wore red polka-dotted ballet flats to match the outfit.

Haha, I just had to feature my new bag prominently in both photos.

I love the bag! I could dump all my stuff inside and it still look cute and dainty. Will blog more about my financially unhealthy interest with magazine GWP bags later. *^_^*
